What if I need more space and bandwidth?
If you need additional space and bandwidth, you can simply upgrade your account to a higher plan. Upgrading your plan provides a much better value than paying for more bandwidth and storage on the side.
Does ICompUK serve International clients?
Yes,international clients are more than welcome at ICompUK.
How long has ICompUK been in business?
ICompUK was formed officially in 2006.
Do you provide Windows Based hosting?
No. ICompUK only provides Linux based hosting. We do not provide Windows based hosting services.
Do you support MS FrontPage extensions?
We offer hosting with or without Front Page Extensions. There is no extra fee for FrontPage extensions installation.
Will I have unlimited access to update my pages?
You have unlimited access via FTP 24-hours a day. As such, you can create and maintain your web pages on your own computer and upload files to your web site at your leisure.
Does ICompUK require annual contracts?
Unlike many other web hosting companies, we do not require a minimum contract. You can choose to pay monthly, every 3 months, every 6 months or every 12 months. Choose the payment terms that best suit your individual circumstances.
How easy is it to change my hosting account if my needs change?
Upgrading your account is simple. Simply fill out the upgrade form found inside ourbilling centre. Usually we have upgrades done within a few hours, however please allow up to 24 hours.
You willbe billed at a prorated amount for the remainder of your month at time of upgrade.
E.g. If you pay us £3.95 a month for the Beginner Plan and wanted to upgrade to the Corporate Plan which is £15.95 a month that is a £12 a month difference. If you were half way into your billing cycle you would only be billed a £6 upgrade fee.
How long does it take to set up anew account?
Once you submit your order, our system automatically runs a series of fraud tests in order to verify the order's authenticity. New accounts are created and dispatched in a few minutes, but please allow up to 12 hours from the time you complete the order form, to the time your ICompUK welcome email arrives.
Does ICompUK offer free trials?
We do not offer free trials instead we offer a no questions asked money back guarantee valid for 60 days.
Does ICompUK charge any hidden or setup fees?
NO HIDDEN FEES. With our web hosting, you will never pay any hidden or setup fees.
Will I be able to access my domain name with or without the WWW?
Yes, you will be able to access the domain name with or without the WWW in front. For example, you could access the domain name "mydomain.com" by going to"www.mydomain.com" as well as "mydomain.com".

What type of servers will my sitebe hosted on?
ICompUK servers are state of the art AMD Dual Processor Dual Core Opterons servers, 4MBcache, 4.0GB ECC RAM, and 2 x 250GB SATA drives with hardware RAID1 for harddrive redundancy. Most importantly, we monitor our hardware regularly, and we deploy new hardware based on server load, not the number of clients. Your site will always be fast, and have ample resources to serve your customers.
Do you do regular backups of my account?
All accounts are backed up four time daily with 28 restore points accessible to the customer, but don't count on our backups alone! Your website is important, and you are the one ultimately responsible for ensuring that your data is backed up!
ICompUK is committed to ensuring the safety and integrity of your data, and offers the following three-tier data protection system:
All files within your account are stored on two separate physical hard drives (RAID1). Should a hard drive failure occur, the server will continue to function normally without any service interruption, and your information will be preserved in its original state.
ICompUK performs four daily backups of all server data. If server security is ever compromised, your data can be safely restored with minimal downtime or data loss.
Our customers have the ability to backup their entire accounts to their own computers with a single mouse click from within the ICompUK control panel.
I have my own SSLcertificate--can ICompUK install it for me?
Sure! We allow you to use your own SSL certificate if you'd like. There is a one time £15installation fee for all custom SSL certificates. Contact us for assistance.
Do you offer custom packages?
No. At this time, we do not provide custom web hosting packages.
Does ICompUK offer PHP 5?
Both PHP 4 + PHP5 are offered with all of ICompUK's web hosting plans.
Do you accept PayPal?
Yes, PayPal payments are accepted.
How can I pay for my ICompUK account?
We accept, PayPal, cheque, cash
We only accept cheque, cash for annual payment terms.
Where can I update my billing information?
You can login to our billing centre to access/update your billing information.
